We received some of the Florida Statewide Assessment results for our school and we are very proud of our student’s accomplishments. The third graders earned a 90% proficiency rating in FCAT Reading, which is a very high ranking for state and county levels. The FCAT Writing scores have returned, and the fourth grade students also did extremely well. Continued.

The school year is quickly coming to a close (only eight and a half days left). Many of you have enrolled your children in Camp Spark for the summer offerings, which are filling up quickly. It will be a wonderful summer program. For more, click here.

Congratulations to our Lutz Prep PTA for receiving numerous recognition awards at the Hillsborough County School District PTA Awards’ Ceremony on Thursday. Lutz Prep has experienced a very quiet testing week thanks to everyone’s consideration!  The students have been doing their best, and we are so proud of them.  We appreciate all of the cooperation from our families, and the teachers have really enjoyed the special treats each day from our PTA.  Our FCAT students will have a celebration next Friday (after testing) to enjoy a few treats too.
