You need JavaScript enabled to view it.- Chairperson, Board of Directors and Chair, Facilities Committee – Mr. Rygiel received his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University. A licensed Florida General Contractor and a LEED Accredited Professional, Mr. Rygiel has managed the construction of numerous large commercial projects throughout the state. A Vice-President with Batson-Cook Company (a Kajima USA Group Company), his construction experience is diverse including educational facilities, corporate commercial buildings, hospitals, and high-rise construction projects. Recognized nationally as one of the Top 40 under 40 in Building Design + Construction (BD+C) Magazine 2012, Top 20 under 40 in the Southeast by Engineering News Record (ENR) 2011, and one of the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2012 Up & Comers; Frank is well known in the industry. He has completed leadership training through the Lore Institute and Ken Blanchard Companies, and is a member of Leadership Pasco Class of 2011, Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2013, and Leadership Florida’s Connect Institute’s Class of 2015. Frank is extremely active in the community with a primary focus on education. He is a gubernatorial appointee on the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council and is the Chair of Pasco-Hernando State College’s Foundation Board. In addition to PHSC, he has worked on committees for the Hillsborough Education Foundation, Hillsborough Community College Foundation and the Florida Medical Clinic Foundation for Caring. He is member of the Downtown Tampa Rotary Club and coaches youth baseball and football for the Wesley Chapel Athletic Association. He is married to Georgia, and both their sons, Evan and Aiden, attend Lutz Prep.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.- Vice Chairperson, Board of Directors – Mr. Harrigan has a Masters in Education from the University of South Florida specializing in Instructional Design & Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical and Behavioral Psychology from The Florida State University.  For the last 14 years he has consulted on performance and learning for Fortune 50 companies as well as the United States Navy.  For 8 years he served as an onsite Project Manager overseeing multi million dollar efforts for the Navy in educating Naval Officers and Enlisted personnel on weapon systems, anti-terrorism and leadership development for all Enlisted personnel and Officers through Commanding Officer.  Following work as a Defense contractor he joined MetLife for four years as a Project and Portfolio manager in the Talent Development group overseeing a team of Learning & Development consultants as well as responsibility for managing a $26M portfolio of projects.  In 2010 he joined The Walt Disney Company where he now manages the Executive and Leadership Development for all Parks & Resorts for Walt Disney World in addition to consulting and overseeing the design and development of technical training for operational Cast.  Mr. Harrigan returned to Tampa in 2007 where he, his wife, and three children still reside.  Mr. Harrigan also serves in his local church community at Idlewild Baptist coaching both of his boys baseball teams and other various efforts.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.– Treasurer, Board of Directors - Mr. Moore has a graduate degree in Commerce and Business Administration from Victoria University in New Zealand and holds a New Zealand Chartered Accountant qualification. Retired, after 31 years working for Merck and Co Inc, his Merck career included assignments in New Zealand, Japan, Brazil, as well as at the Merck headquarters in New Jersey. In his last role he lead Merck's global shared business services group, including being responsible for Merck’s global facilities and real estate management, security, aviation and other support services. Since retiring from Merck and moving to Tampa Bay, he has worked with his wife and daughter to establish a successful childcare business, and on a day to day basis manages the financial aspects of this business. Until recently he was active in the Community Association for the Waterchase Community serving as Treasurer for 4 years and President of the Board for one year. Married with two adult daughters, Chris has two grandchildren currently attending Lutz Pre-Prep.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.- Secretary – Mr. Narkiewicz is the son of an educator who spent over 30 years in the Pasco County school system.  His experience growing up enlightened him on the need to create the absolute best working environment possible for teachers and staff.  Mr. Narkiewicz has a vested personal interest in the success of Lutz Preparatory as two of his children attend the school.  Mr. Narkiewicz has been named multiple times as one of the top young business leaders in Metro Tampa Bay.  He is a First Vice President at CBRE, Inc. (formerly CB Richard Ellis) which is the world’s largest commercial real estate firm.  His area of expertise is the development, sales and leasing of industrial properties in the Metro Tampa Bay area.  His clients range from executives of manufacturing or distribution companies to the industry’s most sophisticated real estate investment trusts. Mr. Narkiewicz’s profession requires a wide array of skill sets that he brings to the Board of Lutz Preparatory, for example: Finance, sales, marketing, site development, construction, understanding of legal issues, leadership, and personnel management.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.- Board Member – Ms. Abreu has recently taken on the role of Membership Process Leader within Nielsen’s US Field organization.  She most recently served on the Nielsen Univision Client Services team and prior to that served as Client Services Leader for Nielsen Watch Puerto Rico.  Ms. Abreu received a Bachelors & Masters in Organizational Communication from Southeastern Louisiana University.  She joined Nielsen via our Emerging Leaders Program and rotated through various business units in NYC, Tampa, Chicago & Los Angeles.  Throughout her career at Nielsen, she has held various US, LatAm & global roles based in Guadalajara & Mexico City, Mexico, Bogota, Colombia and San Juan, Puerto Rico.  At Nielsen, Ms. Abreu is involved in Nielsen Cares social responsibility initiatives, University Recruitment efforts, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).  She served as the first Hispanic Organization of Leaders in Action (HOLA) ERG Leader and serves as current Co-Chair of the Women in Nielsen (WIN) ERG.  Ms. Abreu is a graduate of the National Hispana Leadership Institute Executive Leadership Program, Tampa Bay Public Leadership Institute, USF Community Grassroots Leadership Program, a Past President of Tampa’s Hispanic Professional Women’s Association, a past appointed member of the City of Tampa Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council, current member of the Junior League of St. Petersburg and Board Member of the Lutz Preparatory School Board.  She is the recipient of the Tampa Bay Business Journal “Up & Comers Under 30” Award and the proud daughter of Cuban immigrants.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.– Board Member - Mrs. Cox holds a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida, and practiced in Hillsborough County Schools for 13 years before moving into geriatric rehabilitation, where she practiced another 5 years. In 2000, she left the practice of speech pathology and is currently a licensed fire sprinkler contractor and CEO of Cox Fire Protection, Inc. Cox Fire is based in Tampa and has branch offices in Ocala and Jacksonville, and provides a full spectrum of life safety services. Mrs. Cox and Cox Fire were recognized as one of the top 100 Women Owned Businesses in the Greater Tampa Bay area by the Tampa Chamber of Commerce in 2014. Linda partners with her husband Ron in developing and leading the business strategies of the company, is the majority shareholder and qualifies Cox Fire as a Woman Owned Minority Business that holds several WBE certifications with government agencies.. Community involvement has always been a core value for Cox Fire Protection, and Linda has been deeply involved in encouraging company-wide participation, as well as being involved on a personal level with various charitable organizations. She is a founding member of Hospice Women of Philanthropy, is involved on an on-going basis with Redlands Christian Migrant Center, and House of Blessing Orphanage in Haiti. Linda currently serves on the Board of Directors for the CEO Council of Tampa Bay, as well as the not-for-profit organization – Bagay Ki Bon, based in Haiti, and is an active member and supporter of Associated Builders and Contractors Gulf Coast Chapter.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.- Board Member – Mrs. Wieland is a native Tampan who earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tampa and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova University.  She used her academic training extensively during her 36-year career with the Hillsborough County Public School system.  She started her career as an elementary classroom teacher and progressed through the career development ladder to be an Assistant Principal and Principal, and then was promoted to District Administration in the eighth largest school district in the US.  Her first assignment at the District level was as General Director for Exceptional Student Education and then she moved on to be General Director for Student Planning, Placement and Support Programs.  She had many opportunities to work with a variety of professionals both in education and through community partnerships.  Mrs. Wieland has served on local and state advisory committees which dealt with student academic performance and community needs.  She has served as a board member for both educational and non-profit organizations including school district facilitator for the Hillsborough County Emergency Center.  Currently she is an active member in Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK) sorority – Rho Chapter. ADK is dedicated to educational excellence and provides scholarship opportunities for professional and leadership development as well as charitable and altruistic projects.  She currently resides in Lutz with her husband Bill, who enjoyed a career in healthcare operations improvement and finance.
